Rocco's Mom and Dad had 9 puppies last month and they are growing and eating very well. You can see them if you click on the link below. I am excited to see them play in their puppy area and it reminds me of when I was waiting for Rocco to come to California..

Today Brandon and I went on a bike trail. Rocco is very fast when my dad has the leash. Rocco also helped reduce the bug population buy eating them. I love to ride bikes with Rocco. It is fun!

The Trip To Woodward Park

On Saturday we went to Woodward Park. Rocco met

a lot of friends. Brandon and I rode our bikes while Rocco jogged by us. We had a fun time.

Roccos first time in the snow

Rocco went to the snow with his Uncel mike. He had a lot of fun and also made some friends. I am so glad Uncel Mike gave me a puppy.

Rocco Graduated!!!

Rocco finaly graduated from his first training class. I am so proud of him because he did very well. There was mini Dachshund and 2 Labradors in his class. Their owners were very nice to Rocco. Rocco learned to sit / stay for a whole minute. He also learned how to leave toys and other things when asked. I think Rocco had a good time learning at his puppy school.

p.s. If your dog needs help being trained go to your nearest Petsmart and get signed up.

Rocco's Friend Tommy

My Friend Brook has a boxer, his name is Tommy. Tommy lives down the street from me. Rocco and Tommy like to play at the park. They like to play chase and run around. I like to though the ball to Tommy and he will usually jump for it. Rocco will then chase Tommy untill he catches him. I love watch Rocco and Tommy play.

Camping with Rocco

On friday we went camping. My Dad, brother, and Rocco all slept in the tent last night. Rocco fell asleep right away. He slept between Brandon and my Dad it was a lot of fun. The next morning Rocco wanted to stay in the tent.

Road Trip...Hume Lake

I went to Hume Lake on Sunday with my friend Andew. We brought our puppies and walked around the lake. Andew and I played in the water it was cold. The dogs had fun meting people everyone loved Rocco. I also cought a toad and it was a lot of fun.

Catching Bugs

Rocco loves to chase moths. When rocco sees a bug he will jump very high to eat it. He also chases butterflies.

Rocco On The Green

Rocco loves to lay on the puting green. He likes to lay on the puting green because lt is warm. He also likes to sit and stick his chest out. My uncle Michael says its called postin up.

At the lake

For the first time we took rocco to the lake. My dad put him on the raft he was scared.He was shaking because he was afraid to go in the water. Once he was in the water he loved it.

Hippidy Hop Extravaganza

We found out rocco loves my hippidy hop. He goes nuts . Then he grabs it by the handle and shakes it side to side.Rocco is so funny when i throw the hippidy hop and he jumps on it.

Rocco Loves His Blanket

Rocco loves his blanket . He cuddles with it in the morning.

The Water Bowl

Rocco loves his water bowl. I fill it up and he dumps it then he carries it off. He puts his head in it and spins around and around. When we refill it and he does it again, again, and again!

Speak Rocco, Speak!

Rocco is now 82 days old. He is an amazing puppy. He is kennel trained and can stay the entire night in his kennel and wait to go outside in the morning to do his business. Today he started speaking (barking) on command. He is a fast learner and has amazed us with his temperament and laid back attitude. You can see a video of his first speaking gig below.. There is more to come from this guy soon!

Rocco Loves Uncle Mike

Rocco loves Uncle Mike and I am sure they will both miss each other. I have promised Uncle Mike to keep this blog updated frequently so he will be able to keep up with Rocco. Here is a nice pic of Rocco cuddling with Uncle Mike.

Brandon and I love Uncle Mike and are sooo glad he brought us Rocco. What a cool present!

Rocco Visits Petsmart

My Mom, Dad, Uncle Mike, Brandon and I took Rocco to Petsmart today. He loves to ride in the car. When we got there he made lots of friends including a dog friend. Brandon and I spent much of the time walking Rocco around the store teaching him how to be on the leash. He learned a lot and is better with the leash. Rocco found some toys he really liked and one battery powered toy made him go nuts.

Rocco can swim?

My Dad and I thought Rocco would like the hot tub so we let him go for a swim. He did some doggy-paddling and floated around. It looked like he wanted to leave the hot tub so we took him out and dried him off. As soon as he was dry he fell asleep on my lap. We sure enjoy our new puppy.

Rocco’s New Backyard

Rocco loves his new backyard. We introduced him to the entire backyard. He ran around and barked at all of the toys we got for him. Rocco loves the grass and the woodchips which we told him not to eat. He played with a tug-of-war toy which he ran around the yard with for a long time. We wore him out and he slept good that night.

Welcome Home Rocco

Guess what? Rocco arrived today by airplane from Texas. Rocco is a Boxer and was born in Texas on April 27, 2008. His Mom and Dad are named Carmella and Vito and they live with my Uncle Michael. For many years we have kept up with Vito and Carmella and see their photos on their web site: http://www.bonaboxers.com/

My Uncle Michael was nice enough to bring Rocco to California so that we could have our first puppy. I have many photos that can be seen in the photo album here.

Rocco's Plane Lands

Rocco's plane landed and the adventure begins. Rocco was a perfect angel in his Sherpa Pet Travel bag. Nobody would have known he was on the flight but the flight attendent asked Uncle Michael if she could hold him and then she showed him to about 15 rows of passengers. Needless to say, Rocco made friends on the flight and even got some pics taken with them. After landing Rocco and Uncle Michael were greeted at the airport by Grandpa and Memre who immediately took to Rocco. Rocco loved to sleep in Memre's lap in the car and gave some sweet kisses to Grandpa. They all visited Aunt Adel and my cousin Nicole on their trip to get here.
